Very Good Product For The Price - Power Lawn Edger Critique

By David Washington

That was very adequate and the sparks rarely flew. My reserve blade will likely not be needed until deep into next year's cutting season, if then. Easy to clean up and place back on the wall storage hook next to all my other fun yard tools. The orange color matches my Husqvarna too! The blade is great and it gets the job done quickly easily and safely. I even think it's better than my neighbor's gas-powered edger. This edger has my vote! I read the reviews and liked what I read. So I've got to stay on top of my yard if I don't want a "nasty-gram" from the lady who drives around and makes sure that all the grass is mowed and the shutters are painted. The B&D Edge hog and the replacement blades are a breeze to use.

I thought, for $90, I would give this a shot. By the way, ordered it via prime on Friday and chose Saturday delivery for only $4.

In the end this is an electric edger that requires an electrical cord, so I could only recommend this for personal use on smaller residential lots. However for the average homeowner this is perfect.

By the way, I don't know what to do with the extra blade that I ordered, because the current one doesn't seem to be in trouble for a long time to come. Wish you luck. Edger deceased after twenty moderate yards. Buy local, and better yet, buy with a quick return policy such as Craftsman or Home Depot.

My results with it have been excellent. The included instructions were sub-standard. I've had to return one item bought through Amazon for replacement, and that was an easy and excellent experience. I have used this product only once and it is far superior to the Ryobi that I had before it. It should really be larger. Once assembled, I was worried I would ruin my lawn as one commenter had lamented.

They were out of stock and I had to back order. Few weeks later I had two new tiny bits of plastic attached to a thin strip of metal. Then I ordered the Edge Hog - great results - literally a walk in the park - no backache - little noise, and the most work involved is winding up my 100 foot cord! I would give it more stars if I had the option!

I am not happy with the short handle on this edger or the strength of the machine. I have used it only once and it worked well It won't cut the grass, it just crush...
