I liken it to taking in a cool gust of wind while taking a walk on the beach (or at least that's how I imagine it when that cool air hits my face just right). Do yourself a favor and buy one of these things!
My hot flashes come on about every 45 minutes, 24/7. I have been told by my doctors this can be expected for the next three years.
I was hoping that one day technology would be advanced enough for a portable air conditioner that can keep your surrounding air cool. I guess we still aren't there yet.
It's probably the most expensive small fan I ever got but it is worth it for the quality. I don't tolerate heat well at all and when I made plans to attend an all-day outdoor event in Eastern NC a few weeks ago, I knew I had to bring something other than just a sweatband.
Like so many products today, it is made to look nice but not to last. Don't waste your money. I was going to the standard tower fans but I was intrigued by this new technology. What it really is, is old technology, but still works superb.
My family and friends love it and we're all surprised no one has come up with something like this before. Great as a gift and I'd definitely recommend this! After using it for a week, the device seems to get louder, it makes these grumbling noises as if the motor is slowing down then picking up pace. I really don't think the motor is going to last more than a year. I do outdoor camping a lot and it gets too hot in the summer at times. This has helped keep my tent cool but I would prefer it to ventilate fresh air from outside, and this doesn't do this very well.
The only thing I could ask for is a longer USB cable. Summer has been on the cooler side so far but the hottest month is still to come so I expect to give the fan a real workout. After about three months it stopped working apparently the connection to the motor wasn't very good. I called the USA office and asked for a replacement and in just a couple days I had one shipped out and I only had to pay for shipping. I can also pick it up and hold it close to my face when I need a rapid cool off. This product is brilliant! These mini air conditioners did not change this. After reading numerous reviews and finding that this product was deemed high quality I paid 100 dollars for two of them. It worked great! I also brought a 15 minute battery charger so I could recharge my batteries quickly and use the cooler all of the time.

The system by no means turned on. Quick delivery, a bit noisy using the fan on high but overall great compact style and functions nicely. what size air conditioner do i need. He likes the oscillating function and the ease of adding water and ice. The temp gauge on mine is effective. window air conditioner covers.
