Excellent Price For What It Provides - Coleman Rv Air Conditioner Review

By Anna Collins

Unfortunately the handy cooler does not come with any form of case or anything, this would be nice because I am used to carelessly chucking things into my sports bag when I leave the house, and I am too scared of breaking it. Besides that, I am happy with my purchase.

Still, this is great fan for portable use and I haven't found anything that works as well for the size and price. For the size it's basically a mini-air cooler that runs off batteries. However, the product really didn't live up to the hype in previous reviews. It seemed to draw inconsistent power from the USB port of my brand new MacBook Pro, and would sometimes slow down or stutter, creating a distraction. A great idea, but shoddy materials. The smell on the sponge left a lot to be desired as well.

I'm a personal assistant so I run around places to do the stuff my boss doesn't want to do. This is a great fan for bringing out anywhere. I bought this back in November last year and the company had some issues with the motor being too noisy. I contacted them and got an exchange for the new 2011 model and it is much quieter now.

These fans do work and help to keep up at the practices and games. My wife and I like to go for early morning walks and bike rides but it often is a bit warm out in Florida.

Not too bad for a hand held little unit! I bought this for my trip to Miami and I love it. I have brought 3 fans so far because my 1st one has some trouble with the blade rotating, the flow of air goes on and off, I think this is caused by the power adapter for the wall outlet. You should stick with batteries or the USB adapter.

From now on, I will hesitate on believing Amazon reviews because either the company is making fake reviews or they simply only post positive reviews. To elaborate: You have two options when using this fan; you can plug it in to a USB port on your pc or use batteries. When the batteries are being charged, I run it on my laptop. I also recommend the home adapter which gives out more power. My son was 4 months old at that time. We bought the Stroller Cooling System, which is basically the Handy cooler, the air tube, the USB connection and the universal organizer that holds the Handy Cooler when you use it with the stroller, as well a little extra storage for things for you and baby.

It runs off water cooling, and works better than I thought. It's small and quiet enough to sit right next to my keyboard for when I'm working or on the coffee table for when I'm watching TV. However, I discovered a trick to force it to use moisture from the entire sponge, * Wet the entire sponge according to the instruction manual. Put it in the unit, close the cover, and turn the unit on.
