All You Need To Know About Hublot Watches

By Juan Sanchez

Carlos Crocco in 1980 dreamed up a revolutionary idea which transformed the posh watch industry for good. Being a cruising enthusiast Crocco loved the attractive design of a vessel's port hole. Deciding that he needed to incorporate different elements from things he related to the sea Crocco had the concept of mixing gold which was pretty standard in luxuriousness watches at the time, with natural black rubber. This idea hadn't been tried before and Hublot Watches was born. Hublot basically means port hole in French.

Crocco wanted a luxury watch that might be use in maritime hobbies and mixed elements that he related to the ocean. Hublot began to use gold from a mine in SA, and black natural rubber which came from Malaysia. This was the 1st time in history these two had been combined. What might have been considered an enormous risk became an overwhelming success those that acquired the watch spotted direct from the start the rubber was far more cushty.

In later design options the gold switched to stainless steel. Quite possibly one of the most opulent timepieces to ever be produced by Hublot Watches is the 2010 design Big Bang. As a matter of fact there had been one version of the Big Bang line that was completely encrusted with diamonds priced at one million greenbacks.

The Big Bang line of Hublot watches was a different type of mixture of materials that Jean-Caude Biver, (CEO of Hublot Watches in 2004) could only describe as the big bang. He also picked this name for the new line because there are specific ideas that are universal in every language and the theory and name "Big Bang" and the same meaning in multiple languages.

Thanks to the wild success and trend of the natural rubber wrist bands, Hublot watches have only ever used them and will continue in that pattern, into the imminent future.
