See Better At Night - Tcp Lighting Review

By John Campbell

The front of the globe has the array of six tremendous white LEDs, and they are bright enough it hurts to look straight at them. I just needed low-level, motion-activated lights - there you have it. These solar step lights have again filled with water. I had difficulty getting the cover off in the beginning, so I am hopeful it handles the weather well.

I've had this for many months. Anyway, the light is vibrant and the switch is responsive to light. The first is located in a little closet and it was very exciting when, after closing the small curtains, the light went off! So, we give this light five stars for doing what we needed it to do. I'm here a third time purchasing more for a dark hallway in my basement! I've got a patio/porch outside my apartment and it was dark with steps. We could mount this on the wall over the stairs and point it so the light goes on whenever we hit the fourth step descending down.

I went and looked at it closely yesterday. I purchased ten of these solar spot lights. Got a replacement and today both work perfectly. I might have gotten a defective one however I couldn't get the sensitivity adjusted so that it didn't go on and off all night The product is just what I ordered.

I put one home security light in there and it works splendidly each time.

But, all of a sudden, its motion activating sensor stopped working and today it only works with on-off switch. In the beginning I was a little concern, so I only made the purchase just to see how it works.

This solar floodlight is effective but during the day even though you can easily see fine in the hallway without any light it keeps going on and off each time you walk by.

I could not decide so I purchased a few to test in various locations around the house. For the money do not expect any frills. I purchased two solar spot lights for better light on and around my barbecue, and they've shed lots of light on my evening grilling. This sticker pad is supposed to be stuck to the back of the device - directly on the surface of the battery cover. With this particular unit, the only method to keep the lights from turning on through the night (especially when a breeze is continually moving patio-plant foliage) would be to decrease sensitivity.

This is an excellent simple product that does the job. This really is great for candle lit corridors and stairways when we need to walk like a zombie in the middle of the night time. The one thing is that since this is an LED light it emits that cold blue colour light which for me is ok.

Fantastic illumination with no issue of glare but the motion sensoring was rather minimum. Humorous thing is, a week after I purchased this on Amazon, one of my personal favorite stores, Hammacher Schlemmer began carrying it for $10 more, still is. I'm pleased the mounting bracket detaches from the light to make installation and battery changes simple.
