Exactly What I Needed - Mitsubishi Air Conditioner Review

By Olivia Stewart

Again, totally inoperative after two hours. This one went into the trash bin. I was pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the Handy Cooler. I suffer from Hyperhydrotosis (excessive sweating) and this immediately helps me cool down and stop sweating.

I can't afford one of those cooling nail devices at the manicure parlors but the strength of a table fan is too strong and often makes the nail paint buckle while drying. The handy cooler is not flimsy and therefore sits there in a very sturdy manner and dries my nails, once my nails are almost completely dry, I can adjust the air settings to a low breeze, perfect! My boys have been playing sports for over 5 years and we are always looking for something to help with the heat. I live in South Florida so heat and humidity is pretty much a way of life. Only thing is that the battery life isn't amazing, but that might be because I constantly have it on next to me on hot days. I got the knockoff version from eBay and this one is much better. Never seen anything like this before and it's great! It'll be even better if it was just slightly smaller in size.

Anyway my point is that the handy cooler is great for at home use - my wife and I use it when we're watching a movie on the couch or I place it next to the bed while I sleep. This fan is perfect for drying your nails after a manicure! There is no heavy gust, just a very consistent breeze. I am hoping to open a nail salon soon, and will purchase a few handy coolers first because I can't afford to spend a thousand dollars on a few drying machines.

It's a bit too cold now to use it, but since the last 3 months, this mini fan is fabulous I especially love using it when I am sun baking next to the pool because I want to tan but at the same time don't want to get incredibly and uncomfortably hot. I love to also put plenty of vanilla essence perfume into the filter so that it emits a really nice smell to freshen up my room, love it! If you decide to use batteries you will find that the fan will only work at maximum capacity for about 15 minutes before your batteries start to drain and there is no longer that strong power that was originally there. Batteries are expensive when you're burning up 4 every 30 minutes to simply keep your fan going at an acceptable rate. Now, they will only run on high for maybe 15 minutes (if you're lucky) before quickly winding down and then stopping all-together. That is with *brand new batteries*.

It's can be held comfortably in your hands or placed on any surface - but you need to make sure you don't cover the intake cover. I recommend getting rechargeable batteries to save the battery costs.

Slower delivery than I expected. In warm conditions, this works fine.

I like the analog speed control so you can adjust the level cooling you want. It works on batteries but I've only tried it once and it works just the same. I purchased two of these hand-held fans for a trip that my wife and I took to St Lucia. First of all, while yes they do blow a nice current of air it isn't super-cool air as they advertise, no matter how cold the water you put in the sponge is.
