Review of The Raider CS-35 From Hasbro

By Harry Pilsner

Many kids are bored out of their mind when they are inside. With nothing to do, the T.V., computer, and video games provide entertainment, but do not provide any physical exercise.

With a CS-35 loaded up and ready to go you can have fun chasing around a brother, sister, or friend and having an all out war. For any kid, this is much more fun than watching television.

The soft foam darts that these toy guns shoot aren't hard enough to damage your house, so you can play safely indoors. Because they are soft, they also won't hurt to get hit with.

The Nerf N-Strike Raider Rapid Fire CS-35 has a long name. It also has a long body, much like a shotgun. It has a pump shaped like a handle in the front that you grab hold of. To cock it and load a dart, you pull the handle forward and push it forward.

The stock in the back is adjustable, so if it is too short for comfort, you can make it longer. Feeding the gun is a 35 round drum magazine. This drum magazine also fits other Nerf guns that use clips. You can fire off darts quickly by continually pumping it.

There are two rails on it so you can change the stock or add a site to it. This is a bigger Nerf gun that is capable of shooting single shots, or several shots fairly rapidly. Probably the most appealing aspect of it is the 35 darts that it can carry.

One complaint by some users are that the large drum magazine mounted to the side makes it a little weird feeling to hold, because it messes with the weight.

In summary, there are several features to this gun. The two rails allow you to customize it to your liking. You can shoot single shots, or if you need to shoot faster, you can shoot as fast as you can pump.
