Inexpensive LED Wireless That Works - Paver Lights Review

By Emma Cooper

I purchased two and will buy a couple more. Since I frequently travel down and up my stairs where I mounted the lights, it's foolish, wasteful of energy, and irritating to have these lights popping on the whole day in broad daylight. With the lamp pointing in any helpful direction the swivel bracket will cover battery hatch, hiding it from view and adding an additional level of defense against the elements. It has great motion sensitivity, and also the photocell control is effective. The light is normal LED-bright.

As I mentioned battery life is roughly 6 months, which is decent, however I think I was expecting more since it operates on 4 C cell batteries.

The sunshine and motion sensors still work well. It accepts three "AA's" batteries. I looked around to determine how many lumens it was, but could not find it anyplace on the driveway lighting package. So we threw in the towel on that concept and just have it sitting on our kitchen counter for light in the kitchen if you want to get a glass of water or something like that in the middle of the night time without turning on the primary lights. They stay on just long enough to create a well lighted and broad area for everyone to see - a must buy for any age. That is, this light works exclusively with alkaline batteries and doesn't use rechargeable ones.

I have one step that individuals occasionally miss so this solar lamp post illuminates the area or at least it comes on to notify individuals. Everything including brightness, battery life, movement sensing and the prices are fantastic. I possibly could not affix to my home so I positioned it on the porch close to the door. They are fantastic LED's at a fantastic cost. I got myself this solar lamp post 8 months ago and installed it on my front porch. No mechanical issues with the two I used.

The issue is sporadic and is tied to the wind. From the "Price-Performance" standpoint, these solar lamp posts are at the top of the stack! I see the light, alongside my brick pathway from the road to the home thirty feet distant. Cannot say too much about quality; its an average Chinese mass produced item - which should explain everything. I kept the second one out of the home for a back up for a light if we have a hurricane and also have no lights.

These guys are small to help you put them in strategic locations so that they light when walking through the home during the night. For me, I give this solar lamp post 5 stars. It's on a covered porch, but still has gotten wet because I have it sitting on cement, aimed toward the steps. The real test is going to be how well the system performs in snow, ice and subzero temperatures this winter.
