There is nothing more frustrating than paying a large amount of money for a pair of work shoes or boots to find that the soles or uppers wear out fast. OK, possibly it is more annoying when you go to the store to buy a pair of work boots and they never have your size in the first place.
Caterpillar work boots bought at Amazon.com never have that problem.
Not only do they have each size available, in both brown and black, both steel toe safety shoe and regular work shoe, but the price is reasonable as well.
After years of putting up with poorly fitting boots that did not last particularly long, I finally discovered that I'm able to get a top notch boot in my size and be contented.
So that overcomes the first hurdle, just getting my size.
Once I started wearing them I could immediately tell that the Caterpillar work boots were a superior product. Not only did they lace up well and break in swiftly but they were overall a great design for the work I was doing.
The tread is specifically designed for good traction but also made from a compound that wears well with an in-built oil resistance. All I am able to say is that I haven't had a traction problem and they are the 1st pair of boots the heel does not wear out or grind off one side.
These work boots are available in the higher 8 inch design or the lower cut safety shoe design so I actually mean it when I say that you can get the product that is right for you and your work situation.
Make your work boots last for longer by treating the leather upper with mink oil, particularly if wearing them outside in snow or wet environments. The mink oil also will help the leather break in faster and not dry out.
